About Us
Serving Ugandans Since 2009
Our Mission
At Justice and Development Council Uganda, we are committed to driving transformative change by amplifying voices, shaping public awareness, and fostering sustainable growth. Through strategic programs and targeted advocacy in education, healthcare, economic empowerment, injury prevention, and media mentorship, we work to build resilient communities and create lasting opportunities for all Ugandans.
What We Do
JDC Uganda combines grassroots initiatives with powerful media advocacy to address critical needs and promote social justice across Uganda. Our initiatives include:
- Education: Expanding access to quality education and skill development for all ages, while using media to highlight educational success stories and drive community support.
- Healthcare: Enhancing healthcare access with a focus on preventive care, complemented by awareness campaigns to inform and empower communities.
- Economic Empowerment: Supporting sustainable livelihoods through vocational training and local economic initiatives, using media to advocate for broader economic inclusion.
- Injury Prevention: Addressing unintentional injuries through road safety, water safety, and community outreach, backed by media advocacy that promotes safety awareness and proactive change.
- Policy and Media Advocacy: Working closely with stakeholders and media partners to advocate for policies that protect rights, promote justice, and elevate the voices of Uganda’s most vulnerable.
Our Impact
Since our founding, JDC Uganda has empowered communities by delivering resources and opportunities that address both immediate needs and long-term growth. From rural villages to urban centers, our programs have made a measurable difference across Uganda. Our approach combines transparency, accountability, and sustainable change, with a focus on amplifying local voices and bringing visibility to urgent issues.
