About our JDC Uganda
Justice and Development Council (JDC) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda committed to advancing humanitarian and activist causes.
With over 15 years of focused action, JDC Uganda drives transformative change across the nation by strategically addressing the root causes of poverty, inequality, and safety concerns. Leveraging our expertise in policy advocacy, media influence, and capacity-building, we target essential issues like Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), injury prevention, and economic empowerment for women. Through a coordinated approach that combines policy reform with community training and media outreach, we strengthen Uganda’s health and social systems to deliver equitable, accessible services to vulnerable populations—especially women, children, and rural communities. Our strategic initiatives are community-driven and sustainable, creating lasting impact and building a more resilient Uganda for future generations.
